Watermelon is my favorite fruit. Always has been, always will be. But, I don't happen to have any watermelon around the house here today so it's bananas for us. I'm very particular about my bananas. I don't like them too ripe and sweet. I prefer them while they are still a bit green. Strange I know, but that's how I like them. Once they ripen and get sweet they seem a bit mushier, I prefer not to eat them, but I will. Bananas, apples, oranges and grapes are the fruit staples we keep around the house so getting a picture of one of them is no problem. I love to eat other kinds of fruits, but these are the ones that are always here. I guess I'm just a little bit "fruity."

We always have bananas around too. If they get too ripe, sometimes I make banana bread with walnuts using my grandmas redcipe -yummy- warm out of the oven with butter. My ds favorite fruit is watermelon, my favorite is strawberries.
My girls are the exact opposite of you. They will NOT eat them while they're green. They have to be well on the way to brown for them! LOL!

I LOVE green bananas. Not too green that you can't peel them, but 'just' green enough. After they get too ripe, I usually make banana bread. I don't love fruit to begin with, but I MAKE myself eat it...sometimes.
I can't wait to get me one of those 50mm 1.4 too. Can't wait to see more pics from you with that lens.
