I know you may be wondering how a stove burner can make my life easier. Seems a bit odd (that's OK, I'm a bit odd too). In my 23 years of marriage I have lived in quite a few places and cooked on probably every type of stove that's out there...electric, ceramic cooktop, flat cooktop and gas. Gas is my all time favorite for cooking. I love the control it gives and how when it's off, it's off (try that with a ceramic disc cooktop). Now you may get the impression that I'm a gourmet cook, or even that I like to cook. Trust me, nothing could be further from the truth. If this week's theme was things we like to do, cooking wouldn't even enter into the realm of possibility. I just love my gas cooktop though, because it does make a chore that I don't truly enjoy just a tiny bit easier.

Your blog and your comments always give me a good chuckle . I liked our gas grill, but I was terrified of haveing the little ones in teh house with gas, so I had dh get it capped off. NOw we have electric. I totally don't like how it takes FOREVER to turn on and off :) DOesn't matter, I don't cook much.. lol

Our similarities are freaky sometimes, Jen! I hate to cook, but love a gas stove. I don't have one, but I would like to! Cooking is even fun on my little Coleman camp stove!
I wouldn't have taken a pic of my stove this morning...ewwwy dirty. But I cleaned it today! :)

I love a gas stove too! Right now, I don't have a choice. We can't have gas here. Your stove is much cleaner too ;D
