Here comes Peter Cottontail...

Today's food is one of my favorites. I think it's one of my favorites because I can't have them all the time. They are synonymous with Easter...at least to me. I rejoice when I see these colorful little orbs make their appearance on the store shelves every spring. I'm sure I could get them the rest of the year somewhere...but I think it's better to keep traditional treats traditional. My favorites are the red, yellow and orange. Not so much the green. Definitely I could do without the black ones. Blecchhh. It's beyond me why they make entire packages of the black ones, but they do. They are the ones left over after I'm done and end up in the trash. To each his own I guess.

Settings: ISO 400, F 6.3, SS 1/20sec, Focal length 200mm. Shot on tripod in RAW and edited in Adobe Lightroom.

Yum! I'm a Jelly Belly jellybean fan. None of the rest interest me. Cool shot!

I like this colorful shot! I agree that you should keep them traditional Easter treats, otherwise they won't be so special. Both of my boys like jellybeans and dh and I love the black ones - send us your leftovers! :)

Not a huge fan of jelly beans in general, but I would definitely pick the red and orange ones first!
They make for a good photo subject though!

How funny is that! I can not stand the black ones either. My dh LOVES them though - beyond me too. He also buys licorice by the package though - the stuff that tastes like cough syrup - YUCK... Great colors. I loved jelly beans as a kid, and I eat them when I see them, but I tend not to buy it anymore, simply because I'll eat the whole bag... sadly, I have no control when it comes too sweets... :o) LOL

Great colors here! I have a similar pic today! I should have gotten out my tripod too and slowed down the shutter speed. Great shot!!

ok..now we're talking. JELLY BEANS are my favorite candy of all time. I can't buy any though. I WILL EAT THE WHOLE BAG IN ONE SITTING. So, no jelly beans for me. Great shot though -- and hey, thanks for starting my annual Easter craving!!! hehe.
